Letting God Take Care of All The Things

Christmas day came to pass and another countdown of 365 days is off to set once again. The people are starting to make plans for 2014 and one of them.

The year 2013 had been a tough year for me, lots of challenges as my spiritual awakening spurred 2 years ago. In time, I was able to embrace the "Dark Night of the Soul", the year that it never happened to me before as everything collapsed that led me by the Source to the path that I was taken to becoming of who I am today.

But what does awakening did good to me? This is one of the questions I have figured out, asking myself over and over again. And why did I experience these adversities only to find myself looking back all the good and bad ones.

But one thing for sure, awakening brings out the best and worst in me. As the beginning of the year 2014 comes close, I wanted to recover everything I have lost, start all over again and be careful of the mistakes I have partaken during the past few years.

I know that God wanted me to realize how blessed we are, that everything happens for a reason. And now I know how happy I am, that I deserve that blessings God is giving me. Trust our Lord for everything has been taken cared of.

My Thought About Christmas

First of all let me greet everyone a Merry Christmas! It is Christmas time once again that sometimes   I could hardly believe that moment like this is running so fast that I couldn't imagine every year I say the same piece over and over again when the season comes that I have to think time indeed is like this, like a water running through a river. Everyday in our lives when the moment passes away is just like that and becomes a memory.

I have this feeling that when Christmas passes by, I have this feeling of sadness. It's just that I love this season, but of course I know that everyone loves Christmas. The Christmas songs played on the radio, jingle bells, caroling, the choirs, the people shopping for the Christmas rush and the people, friends and relatives reuniting this yuletide season, it is so amazing. This season of the year also reminds me of my departed loved ones that we could miss them more.

This season, everyone around us portrays Santa Claus, from giving gifts and toys, the cards and the greetings and to giving love. These are the times of our lives, a season that we would always love to reminisce each time Christmas passes by and we know we would happy as we are to remind us that is indeed another yuletide season that we should celebrate. After December 25 is the countdown of the upcoming December 25. It's warm and great that there's always a reminder what I have done, and what I have remembered about the last Christmases.

This is why, I feel strange, quite sad when I know that after December 25 is another wait to another one. And I feel that wave of nostalgia! We saw that pictures and these memories in our lives are something that we can always cherish as time flies away.

It's All About Remembering

It's All About Remembering

Who your true love is

It's all about remembering

who is the one

Can you feel them

Can you recognize them

Only time and space can tell

Only love can tell

No need to wait

No need to expect

No need to explore

It will just come

When you see them

There's no mistaking

But Love yourself first

It is just within

And it's all about remembering...

Love that is eternal..

Love that is pure...

It's all about remembering...

My Thought About Appreciation

Appreciation

Is when you don't really like my work
but have the courage to say the flaws
constructively...

Appreciation is when you have no fear
to say what you think is right but
it never drive away people from
your criticism...

Appreciation is not just simply you
like my work but at least acknowledge
the effort of a person who does the work
either the result of his/her work may be
good or bad..

Appreciation is when you see their point
why they have to be objective when you miss
out something important...

Not only you are receiving appreciation because
they are your friends but because you understand
the need of one person to be appreciated...

Appreciation is when you feel instinctively that a person has the
need to  be appreciated...

In case of good or bad times they are there for you though they are
not physically present...

Appreciation is when you do good deeds to a person
making him/her feel better in times when you need them..

Appreciation is intangible, but you feel them...

Love is unconditional and you appreciate them for loving you
for who you are...

When Synchronicity Works

Life indeed is full of synchronicity specially when you know your true purpose. Whether consciously or unconsciously, the Universe works in mysterious ways. There's a lot of reasons for this why we bumped into the synchronicity that we may experience everyday. Sometimes we will never understand it why it happens. If you know your true purpose and may have awakened already, this will sound normal to you.

Synchronicity works usually during accelerated growth. And that means you are in a right path. God gives us the message that you are being guided. During the time of the dark nights of the soul, our Father gives us the message through His messengers. Yes, you will know because your intuition will really tell you.

It is important to have some reflections during the times when you are really down and talk to your guides and angels as they will assist you whenever you need them. By all means they will help, as long as you know how to call them. Even when you talk through your mind, you can get the answers through signs and synchronicity.

Synchronicity is your personal message, your guide that will lead the way. Only you will understand this as these are given to you that you are the only one that you can understand. To know that you are correct, and validates what and how you feel for what is really going to you.

I would say that synchronicity is God's way to let you know that you are guided and that you are definitely be victorious on the battles that you are partaking. Ask your guides and your angels for some helps. Meditate, travel and go to quiet places. In that way you are being led to reach the light at the end of the tunnel.

Exploring Rizal: Wawa Dam in Rodriguez

This is a continuation of my journey to Rizal Province. I started exploring Rizal as early as 2011 when I first visited Balaw-Balaw Specialty in Angono for a chance to taste the exotic food and learn more about the Art Capital of the Philippines as this was the home of the famous national artists like Lucio San Pedro and Carlos Francisco.

Last Sunday was another paramount experience when I visited the town of Rodriguez, formerly known as Montalban. One of the town's pride is Wawa Dam built in 1909 during the American Colonial Era. It is approximately one and a half hour jeepney ride from Sta. Lucia Mall in Marcos Highway, Cainta. When you get to the main town of Montalban/Rodriguez, you can take another jeepney that go straight to Wawa and you're just a few minutes walk to the pathway leading to the dam.

When we reached Wawa, we had lunch first at the carinderia found in the side way of the road, just before the walking to the trail.

First, we navigated the rough trail  and passed through a short tunnel stone.. There's a rustic metal bridge to cross by and the rushing water was getting louder indicating that you are close to the spot. Make sure to watch your step in the bridge because it's steep and one of your feet might fell on a hole in a metal bridge. The grandeur lies when you are off the trail because of the scenic view of the mountains, and the huge rocks serve as the bed to the river. The ruins of an observation deck serves as the landmark that indicates that you hit the right place.

When you have passed through the dam, you can go swimming at the cascade where cottages and rafts are available for rent.

Wawa Dam is very accessible to those looking for a short adventure, nature tripping, swimming and photo opts.

Getting To See Some Parts of Los Angeles

It's All Saint's Day today and it's time to remember our departed loved ones and offer some prayers to them.

Just last week, two days before my flight home my friend brought me Hollywood and Beverly Hills. It was also my chance to go to the cemetery where big stars were laid down to rest. The Pierce Bros Westwood Memorial Park in Los Angeles is where you can find the famous stars's grave. It is hidden behind the towering high rises that line busy Wilshire Boulevard. Two of the most popular celebrities I've seen their graves are Marilyn Monroe and Farrah Fawcett.

After dropping by the cemetery, my friend drove me to the Wild Card Gym owned by the coach Freddie Roach who trained Manny Pacquiao. Can't believe that I will be able to see the gym. You can find a lot of pictures of Manny Pacquiao here. We saw a lot of boxing aspirants practicing in the gym.

I had a great time with my friend Marie because she made it possible to bring me to these historical landmarks.

A Glimpse of the Snow Summit in Big Bear

I was with my cousin and she drove all the way to the Snow Summit so we could have the glimpse of the place and see what was in store there during the fall season. This is a ski resort located by Big Bear Lake and is one of the most popular ski and snow board destinations around Southern California. En route from Big Bear Boulevard to Summit Boulevard is a resort that was established in 1952.

First we went the Sport Shop to check out for the sport activities in autumn.

Then we walk around the place and saw the "Welcome Snow Summit" sign board.

Aside from Sky Chair, biking is one of the activities in the Snow Summit.

We went hiking instead, but we did not proceed to the peak because my cousin felt tired. We didn't plan the hiking activity so we don't have the sport shoes to wear on for this activity.

I'm not a hiker, so I have agreed with my cousin not to proceed to go on the top of the mountain as we were not prepared for this activity.

So we went down from the mountain and she drove to The Village for lunch.

That was my last glimpse of the Snow Summit before I went down to Anaheim.

Joshua Tree

Last Wednesday relatives took me to Joshua Tree, in-spite of the U.S. Government shutdown as national parks were part of the restraint. Joshua Tree is about and hour and fourty five minutes from Big Bear. The whole day was freezy as it had been said that forecast of the weather would go snow as it happened in the latter part in the afternoon on Big Bear.

We passed through the Yucca Valley first and all the way down to Joshua Tree. We reached the park and it was true that the national park was closed. Quite disappointing, it did not stopped me from taking some pictures outside the park that lasted about thirty minutes.

It could have been great if we were able to get inside the park.

When The Soul Experience Life

We have a lot of learning in this world, in life that we have so we can experience what it's like to be in the planet Earth. The Earth is a challenging place that a soul may take its form on how it can experience human diversity. While in this planet, we are governed by the rules and norms that guides the soul when it incarnates to take its lessons. That principle applies to all souls so we can follow and sometimes we deviate this principle. Like the moral values which govern human beings, we commit mistakes and while living on earth, human can always correct anything wrong that he or she has committed to redeem himself before one is ready for ascension.

It is true that all souls are here to experience everything about life. But moral principles are created for guidance that human can employ for himself. Like the school, there are rules and regulations to be followed as standard which guides all the students to achieve what has been mandated and later on when he learns a lot is for him to finish the studies and later graduate from school. Life is just like that, when the soul experience on becoming a human being. It follows norms to guide him all the way down until he achieves his own ascension.

That is why, being an incarnated soul, whatever wrongful act that we do is not only to experience life but also to right it, until we become pure as light in heaven.

Lake Poway in San Diego

Over the weekend, I had a chance to go back in San Diego and this is the second time around to visit the county as my friend took me there for an event. In the last course before going back to Orange County, they brought me on the lake and had a glimpse on and never stayed long due to time constraints. Below are some of the photos we had in Lake Poway.

Extraordinary Desserts in San Diego

We arrived Friday, September 21 in San Diego for another round of getaway. Foods are irresistible, and when you are in a diet, you will never be able to get away from tasting some unique foods. Sometimes our dining experience will not be complete unless you get some desserts.

creme brulee

chocolate cake

The following day, after we attended the event we went to Coronado where you can see the scrappers in San Diego separating from the sea way. After the diner in the Thai restaurant, we went to a place called Extraordinary Desserts in the downtown of San Diego. This place is popular for its unique desserts and the people outside are in line just to get their orders from the cashier.

I had Crème Brulee as my order and some of my friend had the chocolate dessert.
Extraordinary Desserts is much more than a collection cakes, pastries and sweets. It was created by chef and author Karen Krasne made from the finest ingredients found anywhere on earth.

Noodles And Ice Cream

It's been a while since my last entry about foods. But today (9/18 in California) I had a nice time with a friend and we went to Gomen at Katella Avenue in Stanton California. She treated me a lunch. Starbucks in Cypress has been my usual hang out place since the beginning as I always bring my laptop to surf the internet. She picked me up in Starbucks and proceeded to Gomen. It's a small restaurant that serves Japanese dishes and soup is usually their main dishes, the ramen noodles. And honestly I forgot what soup I ordered but anyway, it doesn't really matter. This is the second time around I had lunch in Gomen.

After eating our lunch, right next to Gomen is a small ice cream parlor at La Flor de Mexico. It's just beside Gomen. I had 2 scoops, one is rocky road and the other one is dulce de crema.

We had a short dine in and then went back to Starbucks.

5 Things “Loving Yourself” Actually Means

5 Things “Loving Yourself” Actually Means
APR. 3, 2013
By BRIANNA WIEST
It’s the age-old supposed cure-all for all of life’s woes (especially involving matters of the heart): “loving yourself first.” I don’t know how many times I’ve had to hear this, but I imagine the number is up there because what I do know is how many times I’ve thought to myself: what does that even mean. Because it used to sound to me like some weird form of narcissism or delusional way of not acknowledging anything wrong you’ve done. It used to sound like it meant you shouldn’t take responsibility for yourself, or something like that. But low and behold, I’ve come to the conclusion that it actually means loving yourself because you are a flawed person, and despite the fact that you are imperfect. And while I’m at it, here are some other things that I think loving yourself really means:
1. Having the courage to forgive yourself. It means being able to acknowledge your humanity, your wrongdoing, but to not let it be a source of internal hatred. To understand that not forgiving yourself is the harshest criticism, and that nobody in your life will be able to love you until you forgive yourself for being human. Embrace your perfectly flawed self; it’s what makes the world so beautifully diverse and interesting.
2. Understanding that not your weight, nor your hair color, nor your choice of clothing, nor the funny way your stomach rolls when you slouch down makes you any less attractive than anybody else. There is not only one way to be beautiful, and loving yourself means realizing your own beauty for what it is, not in the context of how you look compared to anyone else (especially the nauseatingly perfect people in magazines).
3. That you have the choice to do what you love or to continue living a life being submissive to the expectations put on you.Loving yourself means understanding what makes your soul happy, and doing that thing as frequently as you’re able. Regardless of how much money you make, regardless of who judges you for it, and regardless of whether or not you’re wildly successful doing it. All you need to be successful is the knowledge that you are doing what you love most.
4. That not everyone will love you, and that not everybody has to.If you are being true to yourself, and somebody has a problem with that, that is their negative energy to deal with, not yours. Loving yourself means knowing that you will never have the love, praise and approval of absolutely everybody you meet, but that doesn’t reflect anything about who you are.

5. Understanding that you have to love yourself before you can love anybody else, or before anyone else can love you. A relationship filled with anxiety, self-doubt, insecurity, etc. is headed for Hell, and I don’t think that’s news to anybody. You have to feel worthy of love, and that comes from loving yourself. How is someone else going to think you’re totally awesome when even you don’t think you are? A: they’re not. The greatest thing loving yourself means is that once you do, you’re better equipped to let the world love you as well.

The Entrance To Oneness

Imagine feeling more love from someone than you have ever known. You’re being loved even more than your mother loved you when you were an infant, more than you were ever loved by your father, your child, or your most intimate lover—anyone. This lover doesn’t need anything from you, isn’t looking for personal gratification, and only wants your complete fulfillment.

You are loved just for being who you are, just for existing. You don’t have to do anything to earn it. Your shortcomings, your lack of self-esteem, physical perfection, or social and economic success— none of that matters. No one can take this love away from you, and it will always be here.

Imagine that being in this love is like relaxing endlessly into a warm bath that surrounds and supports your every movement, so that every thought and feeling is permeated by it. You feel as though you are dissolving into love.

This love is actually part of you; it is always flowing through you. It’s like the subatomic texture of the universe, the dark matter that connects everything. When you tune in to that flow, you will feel it in your own heart—not your physical heart or your emotional heart, but your spiritual heart, the place you point to in your chest when you say, “I am.”

This is your deeper heart, your intuitive heart. It is the place where the higher mind, pure awareness, the subtler emotions, and your soul identity all come together and you connect to the universe, where presence and love are.

Unconditional love really exists in each of us. It is part of our deep inner being. It is not so much an active emotion as a state of being. It’s not “I love you” for this or that reason, not “I love you if you love me.” It’s love for no reason, love without an object. It’s just sitting in love, a love that incorporates the chair and the room and permeates everything around. The thinking mind is extinguished in love.

Hugging The Big Bear

I was quiet for the past few weeks as this gave me the opportunity to spend more time getting to know Big Bear. This place is California's premiere four-season vacation destination. This scenic beauty is regarded among the best ski resort in California. It's part of San Bernardino County, about 2-3 hour drive from Los Angeles.

I fell in love with this place where nature is more prominent with approximately 5,000 people leaving in this town. Before getting to Big Bear, you will pass a zigzag road with over 7,000 feet above ground level.

Orange County Fair

Last Saturday we went to the Orange County Fair. This is an annual and a month long festival at Costa Mesa in Orange County, California that is held every summer. The fair first took place in the year 1890 in Sta. Ana and one of the highlight of this event in that year there were some minor exhibits and a horse race. The early fairs consist of live stock shows, horse races and some carnivals.

We went early in the morning and paid the entrance fee of $3 for each person. But if you'll come a bit later, the price goes up to $10.

The fair also includes a trade show where we went inside to see some product exhibit of the vendors.

Food vendors piled up outside to sell their delicacies.

We left the fair around 3 p.m. and decided to take our late lunch at Z-Cafe in Costa Mesa mall.

A Day In El Dorado Park

Yesterday was a surprised visit to El Dorado Park in Long Beach. A surprise because I never had an idea that my friend will bring me to this place. Our original plan was to go to Raw Dust Arts Gallery Fair in Laguna Beach. My friend fetched me in Starbuck, Buena Park along Las Palmas avenue. We went to Cerritos at Goldilocks for a buffet. El Dorado Park was approximately 15-minute drive from Cerritos.

The main entrance of the park
A small lake in the park
a small stream and behind is a bridge
In the park, you'll pass some bridges. Just before getting into the trail, there are directions and in the map you are given which trail you have to go, either in 3 or 5 miles trail. But between a trail, is a path whether you continue for another mile trail or on a two mile trail. There are some animals in the park and on the lake are turtles and fishes. Squirrels, birds and some species can be found here.

Some bench are available if you are tired walking
In the trail are trails to make your experience cozy
direction if you want to continue the trail on 1 or 2 mile
bufferfly caught in the act
We sat on the bench for meditation
you can hug a tree for grounding
setting my camera on
This park is good for meditation and if you want to commune in nature without going far from the city, El Dorado is just good as a small forest in the city.
